“So, one day, Hugo & Dean, the amazing creative duo, came to me and asked if I’d like to rework Shimmy Shimmy Ya by Ol’ Dirty Bastard for a Smirnoff spot. Once I’d stopped crying with joy I politely accepted the task. I loved everything by the Wu growing up so this was a dream job. I’m obsessed with 70s thriller soundtracks, so throwing that in the mix made this one of the most rewarding compositions I’ve done so far.”
